How to recover suspended profile in Google My Business

Google My Business allows you to manage your business's information on Google, including updating your business location, hours, contact information, and more. If your GMB listing is suspended by us, it will appear as if your business never existed and no longer appears in search results - potentially resulting in a loss of potential customers.

Google My Business suspensions happen to the best of people. Having a listing suspended can be a major setback, leaving you scrambling for answers and solutions during your time of need. Whether you're looking for information on why or how your listing has been suspended or seeking ways to get back into good graces with Google, then this is the resource for you!

What is Google My Business Suspension

Google My Business suspension is a very serious matter. When you are suspended, you lose the ability to manage your listing completely and no one is notified. A suspension will also negatively affect your business' rankings on Google Maps and Search, potentially resulting in lost revenue for your business.

It is not always clear why your listing was suspended by Google. You can also be Manually Suspended by Google if they find something wrong with your listing. A business listing could be removed or negatively edited almost immediately if that person is "trusted" by Google.

There are two types of suspensions:

  1. Hard suspension
  2. Soft suspension
  3. Account suspension

Hard Suspension

The hard suspension occurs when your Knowledge Panel does not appear on Google Maps or search results when you search for your company's name or city. The reason for a hard suspension is usually that Google deems your listing ineligible for a GMB listing, or that you are using spammy tactics.

Soft Suspension

You can still access your business's Knowledge Panel in your Google My Business dashboard when it has been soft suspended, but you can't manage the listing nor update it. A soft suspension makes your GMB profile more susceptible to user-suggested edits - which means incorrect information can be displayed and changes are more likely to occur.

Account Suspension

Suspension of a manager removes the manager's ability to manage listings, but the listing is not affected.

Owner accounts are suspended when they are completely removed from Google. The listings as well as the reviews will be removed. The account will be reinstated when it is successfully reinstalled, but it is possible that any reviews will be lost as well.

What is the reason for your Google listing suspension?

Suspension notices are frustrating because Google does not provide you with an explanation as to why they happened. Lawyers, locksmiths, and plumbers are among the industries that get high spam levels, so you might get your listing suspended. Making several updates to your Google My Business listing can also trigger an investigation by Google and result in a suspension.

Despite the fact that Google won't disclose the reason for suspending a listing, there are some common reasons why a listing has been suspended

  • You should avoid keyword stuffing in your business name.
  • Your business does not have bricks and mortar. The use of PO boxes is not acceptable.
  • The address for your listing is a virtual office or coworking space address.
  • A physical address is displayed on your website for a service-area business.
  • You only conduct business online.
  • If you own or operate a high-risk business, such as a lawyer, plumber, HVAC, locksmith, rehab center, etc.
  • Your address is shared with another business.
  • All of your GMB profile changes/edits were done at one time.
  • In your GMB profile, you can add URLs that redirect to another website or to social media pages.
  • Your listing will be changed to a Service Area Business (SAB) if you change it from a Storefront.
  • On your website or other online business directories, you do not specify your address or hours.
  • As far as your business hours are concerned, you list them as 24/7.
  • As a result, your listing was suspended because a manager suspended your listing.
  • The same business was listed more than once at the same address (duplicate listings).

You may find these things help you figure out why your business listing was suspended, although they are not the only things that might cause your listing to be suspended by Google.

Suspended listings affect businesses

Hard suspensions do remove your listing from search engine results, but your business isn't necessarily doomed as a result. As long as you follow Google's protocols, your business's listing will be reinstated.

Suspension of a listing by Google is in your business's best interests, your customers' interests, and Google's own interests.

As fraudulent listings have increased in the last few years, Google has used listing suspension to eliminate them and display honest, legitimate business listings. In most cases, a legitimate business will be able to recover from suspension very easily.

The Best Way to Fix a Suspended Google Listing

A legitimate business may be required to prove its legitimacy before Google will lift your listing from suspension. Proof can be provided in the following forms:

1. License from the state (if required)

2. Obtaining professional licenses if necessary

3. Verification of the location's occupancy

  • Payments for utility services
  • Agreements and deeds related to rentals

4. Business location photos

  • Visible logo of the business
  • Door numbers and addresses of buildings/suites
  • Logo-branded vehicles parked in front of the building

5. Identification documents for tax purposes

6. Video verification

7. If you are unsure of exactly what Google My Business Support needs, contact them.

The suspension may be lifted by Google through alternative methods, such as video or phone verification. Depending on the nature of your business, Google will determine if these less-intensive solutions are appropriate for you.

Whatever Google's reinstatement process is, follow their instructions quickly and thoroughly to ensure your listing is reinstated. Furthermore, Google will require patience from you. Your business could be permanently blacklisted if you rush the process.

Conclusion

The suspension of your Google My Business account can sometimes happen for random reasons - like making too many changes at once, editing something your competitor suggested, or even Google making an error. Your online marketing efforts shouldn't rely solely on Google My Business. Make sure you are prepared. Remember that Google has the edge - always follow their rules.

Compare or combine Microsoft Clarity with Google Analytics

We think of Google Analytics right away when we think of free website analytics tools. Because of many reasons, some of which I will discuss in this blog post, Microsoft Clarity may take some time to replace Google Analytics as the best free website analytics tool. You can use the software to improve the interaction between your website and its visitors.

We feel compelled to compare two of the world's largest tech companies' digital toolkits to find out which one will give us the best results.

A Microsoft clarity app facilitates the tracing and resolution of website and app issues by acting as a website or app analytic. The program is completely free to download and very useful. Measuring traffic KPIs and user experience is a key function of the tool. Since it is a newly-launched product, some of its features are unique.

The Google Analytics app helps to trace and resolve issues with websites and apps. Additionally, it is free and offers a variety of features. In addition to measuring traffic and economic KPIs, it is a leading analytical application. In my opinion, this is the main feature that makes Google Analytics stand out.

What is Microsoft Clarity?

Microsoft Clarity is a free software tool that offers features such as replays and heatmaps that allow you to see how users navigate your site.

By using the tool, users can uncover hidden risks, identify new business opportunities, and gain insights into data. By making data representations visual, the software facilitates the creation, sharing, and interpretation of data. Additionally to the heat maps that visualize user clicks and movements on your website, Microsoft Clarity provides a session replay feature that lets you see exactly how users interact with your site. You will not find these features in Google Analytics.

What is Google Analytics?

The Google Analytics app is a website and app analytical tool that helps you track and resolve issues. It is also free and has numerous features. In addition to measuring traffic and economic KPIs, it is one of the leading analytic applications. This is really the best thing about Google Analytics.

It offers a better user experience, as it provides information such as bounce rates, which shows how many users leave a page after viewing one, and conversation rates, which shows how many users visit multiple pages. As a result, it understands the situation better.

Main Differences between Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics

  1. The Microsoft Clarity app was launched recently, while Google Analytics has been around for a long time.
  2. Microsoft Clarity is primarily a tool for measuring user experience, whereas Google Analytics is a tool for measuring traffic.
  3. Google Analytics is more popular, but Microsoft Clarity has fewer users.
  4. Google Analytics can measure economic KPIs as well as traffic KPIs, whereas Microsoft Clarity can only measure traffic KPIs.
  5. User experience charts are better in Microsoft Clarity, while Google Analytics is focused more on traffic measurement than on experience charts.
  6. Google Analytics does not have the feature of session playback, whereas Microsoft Clarity does.
  7. Heat maps are available in Microsoft Clarity, but they are no longer available in Google Analytics.
  8. Google Analytics measures bounce rate and conversion rate but Microsoft Clarity does not.

Final:

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity both give you a detailed overview of how users interact with your site and how many are coming to it. By segmenting and targeting your audience, you will be able to tailor your website to meet their needs.

No matter which tool you use, you should determine your goal first. What you need to enhance, and the second one is what the tool is telling you approximately your goal. Then you make a decision to do so to enhance matters to your website. For more details about to grow your business in 2022, check out ZINAVO.

10 Effective SEO Tips to Get Your Website Indexed by Google

Indexing is the process used by search engines to discover, crawl, and store information on web pages. It's also a way of telling Google how often a page should be crawled and how fresh your content is. If you want more visitors, then you need to make sure that the search engine spiders can find your website easily and it must be up-to-date with great content.

How to Get Your Website Indexed by Google: A step-by-step SEO process which takes you from Googling how to get your website indexed, to getting it indexed by the end of this blog.

As there are a lot of technical terms in this post, let's get started by defining a few key terms:

  • Indexing – the process of adding web pages to the Google index (database)
  • Crawling – browsing the internet for new content by following hyperlinks
  • Googlebot/web spider – Google's program that follows links on the web to discover new content

Google is the most popular search engine in the world. When you enter a query in Google's search box, it looks at all of its content - which consists of web pages and other information (such as images) - to find out which pages are the most relevant to your search. It then provides these results so that you can easily find what you're looking for.

  • Discovery: The search engine finds new and updated pages by analyzing XML sitemaps and following links from other sites it knows.
  • Crawling: After crawling a page, Google passes all the information it's discovered to its indexing processes.
  • Indexing: This process analyzes content, renders pages, and determines if they should be indexed among other things.

How to check if Google has indexed your website?

Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools) is a free service by Google that helps you with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of your website. You can go to the "Coverage" report under "Index" if you're signed up for Google Search Console and have access to your website's account.

  • Valid: These pages have been indexed successfully.
  • Valid with warnings: Although these pages were indexed, there are some issues that you may wish to investigate.
  • Excluded: These pages were not indexed by Google due to clear signals that they should not be indexed.
  • Error: Google was unable to index these pages for some reason.

To check if a specific page was indexed, simply type in the URL you want to check into Google's Webmaster Tools. If it wasn't indexed, then an error will be returned that reads "The URL does not exist or has not been crawled."

Check the URL’s cache

Check to see if the page you want is cached in Google. If it is, try to find more information about the cache version by clicking the cache: https://example.com

How to get Google to index your website quickly

Create an XML sitemap

An XML sitemap is a list of pages in a website. It helps search engines like Google to crawl the site more efficiently. Creating an XML sitemap is easy, and there are tools available online to generate one from a website's index page.

Use internal links

Internal links are the links from one page of your website to another page. By linking your pages together, you are telling Google that your site is comprehensively organized and this will help to get Googlebot to crawl through your entire site. If you need a brand new web page to be crawled especially fast, hyperlink to it from one in every of your top-performing pages when you consider that Google recrawls those kinds of pages greater often.

Create unique, Valuable content

If you want to create an effective content strategy for your website, start by creating content that is unique and valuable. Google is constantly changing their algorithms and one of the most recent updates was made to help search engines find websites that are providing unique, valuable content. It is better to avoid creating pages with little content or with the same content as other pages on your site.

Get rid of low-quality pages

Many sites struggle with low-quality content, for example when it comes to duplicate content or thin affiliate pages that don't add any value. In order to improve your site's SEO, you'll want to get rid of these because they'll prevent Google from crawling your most important pages and won't provide any value to your users.

Check your robots.txt file

Robots.txt is a text file placed on your website for search engines to follow as a set of instructions about which parts of your site should be crawled or not. Having this file will ensure that you can have full control over the content and links being indexed by search engines. It prevents Googlebot from crawling the folder if this robots.txt file is present. Consequently, all other crawlers are able to access the whole site freely.

Set up canonical tags correctly

While the web is a great place to share content, it can also be a source of frustration for website owners. You want Google to index your site's pages and serve your users well, but if there are multiple URLs out there that all point to the same content, they may not distinguish between them in search results.

In SEO, there is an important tag that helps you identify duplicate and similar content under multiple URLs. This tag is known as Canonical Tags. This tag is used to tell the search engines which version of the page should be indexed and displayed in search results.

Manually publish your URLs to Google Search Console

Google Search Console (formerly known as Webmaster Tools) is a free service by Google that helps you monitor and search console manage your website. You can use it to see how Google views your site, get insights about its performance and health, set up crawling, monitoring and maintenance for your site.

Submit publish via Google My Business

Google My Business is a free and easy way for you to share important information about your business with Google users searching on Google or Google Maps. Adding and updating information on Google My Business helps people find your business when they search on Google.

Build backlinks

If you want Google to find your website, then you need other websites to link to yours. Backlinks are the second most important factor in SEO. There are two types of backlinks - Do-follow and No-follow. The former means that the link is followed by Google and will pass on the value to your site, whereas the latter does not pass on any value to your site but still helps you rank higher. There are many different ways to get backlinks. One of the best ways is guest posting on blogs and forums in your niche.

Conclusion

For many businesses, having a well-designed website is essential to their success. However, for a lot of reasons, it can be difficult for Google to index your website. This means that your website might not be as searchable as you would like, which can be quite problematic. This is because Google is the most popular search engine in the world, with more than 2 billion searches per day. With that kind of traffic, you can see why your website's search engine optimization (SEO) is so important.

That's why we've put together this blog post to give you some tips and tricks on how to index your website properly by Google. Also, don’t overlook tuning your SEO ratings the usage of Google Analytics. For more details about to grow your business in 2022, check out ZINAVO.

Social media marketing tips for small businesses or startups

As the social media landscape continues to evolve and explode, it is increasingly important for startups to be aware of the marketing essential tips to help their social media marketing efforts.

Startups face a number of challenges in social media marketing, especially when they are still in their early stages. And the reason why that is there is so much serious competition in the market, and startups have no chance to stand out from it. This competition is fierce and fast, which means that they need not just to think about their marketing strategy, but also start thinking about their social media strategy.

In this post, I will share with you some of the essential tips that will help your company go ahead with its social media marketing efforts:

  1. Improve your Page Rank – Facebook’s Page Rank tool helps you determine how well your page ranks on Facebook. It’s free to use and you can use it in two ways – get a score from each page or from a single page (which could be an entire site). The better your score gets, the higher it will rank in Facebook search results. Here’s how it works: https://business.facebook.com/insights/
  • Use Social Proof – The more social proof you provide users with on your website or app, the more likely they are to click through and give more information about themselves around specific topics or products related to yours (such as buying a camera online vs. buying one online). But don’t confuse this with “social proof”, which means “users trust another user because they know them”. You should always focus on providing good content – useful content – with clear links and descriptions so that users won’t have any doubts whatsoever about what you’re offering them (and trust them even more).
  • Choose A Good Title For Your Page – In most cases, people say “I like this site”, instead of actually going through all of its pages and finding it by browsing for keywords like “good site” or “great site”. Pick a title that people would remember easily when searching for something related to your brand. To do this well: 1) Find out what type of content your potential customers want 2) Find out what keywords people search for 3) Find out what type of content does not work as well There are several ways for you to do this: 1) Use Google Keyword Tool – You can use Google Keyword Tool by clicking on Tools at

Content Quality is the Key to Social Media Marketing

So what do you do if you do not have an Instagram account? Social media is the most popular way to connect with your customers. However, it may be hard to get your message across to them. So here are some of the tips that can help you with your social media marketing.

  1. Create a great Instagram account: If you already have a business page on Instagram, then your business page should have a few different types of content in it. For example, if you run a store or something similar, then adding product images with different products will help users get more information about the products and make them want to buy them. If that isn’t enough information for users, they may leave without buying anything because they don’t want to waste any time looking at images when they need information right away.
  • Great content doesn’t always equal great followers: A lot of people think that great content is what gets them followers and likes, but it doesn’t always work that way. Sometimes, just having good content will also get you followers and likes — which means that the really important thing is making sure that everything on your social media marketing plan is top notch quality so people know they can trust what you have to say!
  • Make sure everyone on your team has the same level of experience: It’s best to have a few team members who focus on creating regular content for your company (like blogging), while another group takes care of posting new posts on social media every day in order for people to benefit from them (like promoting posts). So make sure all team members have at least some experience in social media marketing and know how to use all of these resources properly!
  • Make sure influencers follow back: Your brand needs real people who are willing to share their beauty tips with their followers (so they can see how good they look) in order for people to follow them back so they can see more photos of their products! Then those photos become actual inspiration and help inspire others — so making sure other influencers follow back will help even more!
  • Use hashtags wisely: Hashtags are useful because when someone searches keywords related to your brand online (such as #zinavo), most search engines only show relevant results based on those searches alone — so if someone uses #zinavo as a keyword in their search engine query (for example), but absolutely nothing else shows up at all

Create Engaging Content

Social media marketing is not a “one-size-fits-all” strategy. Your brand will be defined by the messaging you want to send, and your goal will be determined by your target audience and their interests. To give yourself an edge in the social world, I would start with a few guiding principles that can help guide you in taking your brand to the next level.

  1. Be aware of your target audience. Think about who is most likely to fall into each of your target groups. What do they like? What are their interests? What are their hobbies? What’s important to them that others may not care about?
  • Be authentic in your expression of what you want. As a startup, you’re probably going to have more going on than just business, so create content that is more relevant to your audience and their interests, rather than simply following the crowd.
  • Create content that reflects who you are as a company. If you want to be known as the organization that’s all about empowering women, picture those women at work wearing t-shirts with slogans like “Blessed with a Career” or “All the Time in the World.” Don’t just copy millennial; think about how things might have changed over time for different groups of people or under different circumstances (such as when women had less access to education). Think about how your company has changed over time – for better or for worse (think about what it means for the company today). Be unique by making content specific and personal (rather than generic), but keep in mind that this can be challenging if you don’t have a strong enough brand identity already established.
  • Know where exactly your audience hangs out on social media and make use of it as part of ongoing promotion campaigns. Don’t start with full blasting #hashtags – think about who might be interested in what – and then follow up with good old fashioned email marketing for relevant audiences!

Followers are the Foundation of Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing is a vital part of every startup’s strategy, but not many understand the specifics of how to get them. I want to share with you some essential tips to help your social media marketing efforts.

Twitter is a very powerful tool. It can be used as a promotional tool, a direct-response channel for sales, or just for getting friends and family excited about things that you are doing. It has shaped the way hundreds of thousands of people communicate with the world. Most platforms allow their users to vote on posts, like Facebook does. But unlike Facebook and Instagram, Twitter allows you to retweet other people’s tweets, which acts as ‘publish’ and makes it more likely that your followers will share them.

For example: let’s say that you are starting a new store where you sell tie-dye clothing — you have done some research and found out that it is an extremely popular trend in Europe at this moment . You need enough followers to promote your store on Twitter so that people can find you when they search for tie-dye clothing online or try to buy one from one of your stores — it depends on how big your store is and how many people follow you!

Here are some basic tips:

  1. Make sure that your products are relevant to the types of people who follow you: if they are fashion enthusiasts, then make sure that they know what kinds of clothes they like (not necessarily what colors); if they love animals then make sure that they know all about pets; if they love technology then make sure that they know all about smartphones; etc… Don’t forget about language too! If your audience can speak English then consider making some English tweets, or even tweets in Spanish!
  • Make sure there is diversity amongst your followers: different languages, different nationalities. Be careful though because this might make all tweets seem generic or boring — instead think about providing users with a little bit about yourself so that when someone searches for something specific (like “trendy clothes for women who love animals”), it will probably come up; or even when someone searches for something specific (like “the coolest gift ideas for men who love sports”), it will probably come up; etc. Choose the right words carefully so as not to alienate any particular demographic group!
  • Don’t forget about followers from different countries

Community Engagement is important for Social Media Marketing

Social media is the new frontier for marketing. This social platform has given rise to numerous businesses and startups that are using it for everything from advertising to marketing, content creation and distribution, and customer service.

Unfortunately, social media lacks the familiarity that traditional marketing tools have. But there are a few things you can do to keep your social media marketing strategy on track.

Grow Your Audience with Social Media Marketing

Instagram is the most influential and most used social media channel for marketing. As a startup, you must get your Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn account to the top of your target market’s feed.

Measuring Success of your Social Media Marketing Campaign

Social Media Marketing is arguably the most important marketing channel that a company can use to reach its target audience. It is a relatively cheap, yet highly effective way of getting the word out about your brand via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. So how well are your social media efforts being used to reach your target audience?

There are few companies that have managed to get a full picture of their social media marketing efforts and its outcomes. But it is certainly possible to look at metrics such as ROI, engagement on any given platform, conversion rates, and brand awareness. However, even if you can measure these metrics, they may not tell you what you have actually achieved with respect to the target audience.

A good way to identify whether your company’s social media marketing efforts are working or not is by analyzing the results of some specific campaigns. For example, if you’ve been running an online campaign for promoting the launch of a new product or service, then I would assume that this campaign has been successful. If not then it is worth exploring why it hasn’t worked as hoped and what measures should be taken in order to improve future campaigns.
